Hey! I’m Miko Willie, a computer science student focusing on artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Artificial Intelligence Engineer

I’m building toward privacy-first AI that runs on your device instead of somebody else’s server. Small enough to work at the edge but reliable enough to trust and structured in a way so that your data never has to leave your hands. My experience in regulated industries has given me a profound respect for privacy issues and a deep understanding of how bad the outcomes are when a model gets important things confidently wrong.

Copywriter / Content Strategist

I’ll write just about anything. I get fascinated by everything. My writing experience is both deep and broad, from technical HVAC program development to full website content, video scripts, and even fiction. I mostly focus on tech, home services, healthcare, fire protection, and logistics. I’m a born collaborator and will not hesitate to kill my darlings. (Editing. Just editing, you psycho).

Backstory: It’ll Be A Book Someday

When everything goes sideways, I’m the one who jumps up and runs full speed into the storm instead of back towards safety. I’ve been a wildland firefighter with the US Forest Service, boat mechanic and Search and Rescue specialist in the US Coast Guard, and ran a full-service digital marketing agency for twenty years. Currently living on land but I like boat life best.
